In an attempt to get back in the swing of blogging–yeah, I’ll be dusting the cobwebs off my laptop–I decided to write up a little intro blog for this website. Here’s a little short blurb about what I’m up to and what to expect out of this blog in the future.
For those of you who know or don’t know, I do freelance Marketing to put bread on the table and gas in the tank. Social Media marketing and management, Advertising Campaigns, Photography, and Event Coordination and Promotion are all technically wrapped into that job title. I guess I’m not exactly a one trick pony, and I’m up for some variety in my life. So for those of you who wonder “what in the world do you do for work so you can travel all the time?!” …There’s your answer! I’m sitting in a locally owned coffee shop/bar stealing wifi and soda water as I type this. I literally work from anywhere and everywhere. Sometimes I even guest bartend in random towns when I can. But now I’m getting carried away on the point of this blog. Anyways…
With more exposure and more partnerships arising with companies and individuals alike, it only made sense for me to build a website that attempts to encompass everything my life involves within the motorcycle world: Marketing, Sponsorships, Photography, and Blogging. The first three are pretty self explanatory as you can see if you look around my page. The blogging will be the newest addition. I’ve gotten to the point with my adventures that I feel like I have enough knowledge of sorts to give back to the motorcycle community. Whether it’s tips and tricks, road and camping spot suggestions, trip write ups, event coverage, or a classic “chicken soup for the soul” story about someone I’ve met along the way, there’s going to be some rad stuff being shared with everyone that will hopefully leave someone out there with a inspirational fire under their ass to get out there and adventure on two wheels. Did I mention I don’t care to sugarcoat things? Yeah, some explicit verbiage is probably going to slip out a time or three. Get into it. Or not. I yam who I yam. Carrying on…
I guess the overall goal of all this is can be summed up in three different categories: Inspiration, information, and community outreach. I want to start giving back to this motorcycle community that I’ve completely fallen in love with. I’ve been given some crazy opportunities past and present, and I feel that I wouldn’t have gotten any of those without someone in this community being there to inspire me or just point me in the right direction. The “support those who support you,” movement will definitely be a part of things I include on this adventure. I hope to inspire some folks to get over their fears of riding, or even better to leave the comfort of the city limits and ride across the country–to go on an adventure that will change their lives.
I’ve additionally added on a Youtube Channel to my list of social media channels to share some mini movies with you all from the road. I hope to have a couple up over the next few weeks. (Huge thanks to GoPro for the gear!)
I can’t say too much, but the next couple of months are gonna be a little nuts, but hopefully you’ll enjoy the ride along with me. I hope you find these future blogs useful in one way or another.
See ya on the road,
